It would mean less on-street parking for motorists, and one less lane of traffic each way, but that doesn’t bother cyclists in the city.
A pilot project has been proposed for bike lanes to be installed along Bloor Street, between Shaw Street and Avenue Road, and the public is being asked to weigh in with their thoughts.
A public drop-in is being held Wednesday March 9, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the Trinity-St. Paul’s Centre gym, at 427 Bloor Street.
If the final proposal is given the ok from City Council, cyclists could be pedaling along that stretch by the summer.
