For years cycling advocates have been pushing for bike lanes on Bloor Street West and now it may become a reality. A pilot project is in the works for bike lanes to be installed between Shaw Street and Avenue Road in both directions. The city is welcoming the public to an open house Wednesday afternoon between 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. to assess the proposed bike lane design.
If approved by city council, Layton said the bike lanes should be installed by summer.
If the bike lanes are approved, will you be trying them out this summer? Are you against having bike lanes in Toronto?
