York Police have arrested three men and recovered two vehicles that were stolen from a driveway in Vaughan.
Police say officers responded on Thursday to two warm up thefts at the same residence in the area of Bathurst Street and Rutherford Avenue.
A black Mercedes S55 and a white Lexus LX450 were left warming up in the driveway using the push-start ignition.
The suspects were able to enter the vehicles and drive away despite not having the keys.
Police located both stolen vehicles a short time later and arrested the suspects.
25 year old Andrew Biggs-Simpson of Mississauga, 21 year old Teshawn Tulloch of Brampton and 23 year old Randel Seelochan of Mississauga are each charged with 2 counts of theft of a motor vehicle, 2 counts of possession of property obtained by crime and 1 count of obstructing a peace officer.
Tulloch will appear in a Newmarket courtroom on Friday, Seelochan will appear in court on March 24 and Biggs-Simpson will also appear in court on March 24.
York Police are reminding drivers not to leave their vehicles warming up unattended.
