Councillor Rob Ford’s family has set up a “get well soon” website, so people across the city of Toronto can wish him well during his cancer treatment.
There have been at least a thousand messages that have been sent so far, including photos and other well-wishes that were posted to show support towards the councillor.
The Ford family launched the site on Sunday and say they are astonished by the amount of support they have received for Rob.
His brother and former councillor, Doug Ford, says he’s happy to see that people are reaching out to tell Rob how they feel and giving him the best of luck in his fight.
He’s been battling cancer since he was forced to leave the mayoral election campaign back in September 2014. That’s when a large tumour was discovered in his abdomen.
You can visit the site by clicking here.
Already at almost 1,000 comments and growing, thank you for your support.
