York Regional Police are looking for the public’s help in identifying a man, wanted in connection with an armed bank robbery in the city of Markham.
According to police, the lone male suspect entered a bank branch on Copper Creek Drive in the area of 9th Line and Highway 407 at 11.50 a.m, on Friday, March 4th.
The suspect was armed with a gun and approached the teller, demanding cash.
A sum of cash was given to the suspect and he then fled the scene on foot.
He is described as white, in his 20’s, approximately 5’8” tall, with a thin build, wearing a black mask and grey hooded jacket and carrying a black handgun.
