James van Riemsdyk and Joffrey Lupul will both miss the remainder of the season for the Toronto Maple Leafs with injuries.
Van Riemsdyk has been suffering from a broken left foot since the beginning of January and he was originally expected to miss 6-8 weeks. However, he remains on crutches and his recovery has taken longer than doctors first thought.
Lupul is still dealing with a number of injuries and will be getting ready for a sports hernia operation in the near future. His last game was back on Saturday, February 6th, when he injured the mid-section of his body in a game against the Ottawa Senators.
James van Riemsdyk scored 29 points in 40 games this season and Joffrey Lupul had 14 points in 46 games.
