Classes resumed on Wednesday at Dunbarton High School in Pickering, a day after a mass stabbing incident.
Officials say counseling services are being made available to students for the next few days.
Police say 9 people were injured when a female student walked into the school on Tuesday morning armed with 2 knives.
Six of the victims stabbed were students, three were staff members. All suffered non-life threatening injuries.
Durham Regional Police are reportedly looking into a social media post that may have come from the accused indicating a knife attack was being planned.
The 14 year old suspect is now charged with 1 count of assault, 6 counts of assault causing bodily harm, 7 counts of assault with a weapon and one count of possession of a dangerous weapon.
She had a bail hearing scheduled for 10 a.m.
