Suzanne Craig has been appointed as the Toronto District School Board’s first integrity commissioner.
She will be providing direction for 22 trustees ensuring that all of them will be following the rules.
The board made the move in an effort to have Craig give consultation on the TDSB code of conduct, proceedings and requirements in regards to the Municipal Conflict of Interest Act.
This is the first school board in the province to appoint an integrity commissioner.
Suzanne Craig has been an integrity commissioner in St. Catharines, Vaughan and Barrie.
She will start working with the TDSB on Monday, April 4th.
