It appears the majority of Canadians think the country should stop accepting Syrian refugees when it meets its target at the end of February.
More than 70% of those asked in a poll for the Angus Reid Institute feel 25,000 Syrian refugees is enough.
About 42% of respondents think Canada should stop accepting Syrian refugees immediately.
So far, 21,000 refugees have arrived in Canada.
Immigration Minister John McCallum recently said Canada would up their original commitment and accept up to 50,000 Syrian refugees by the end of 2016.
