A burst pipe has forced the closure of the emergency room at St. Michael’s hospital.
Walk-ins and emergency patients are being diverted to other facilities.
Patients already in the ER have been moved to other areas of the hospital.
The closure is expected to last until Wednesday morning.
St. Michael’s Emergency Department will not be accepting patients overnight as we continue to clean up and assess damage from a burst pipe.
