Ontario has a new Ombudsman.
Former taxpayer ombudsman for the federal government, Paul Dube was today announced as the man for the job after having been selected by an all-party panel.
He succeeds the outspoken and sometimes controversial, Andrew Marin, who was not granted a third 5 year term on the job last summer.
Barbara Finlay has been serving as Ombudsman on an interim basis since September.
Dube’s five-year term starts on April 1st.
