Transportation Minister Steven Del Duca chasing after snow plow operators that don’t do the job properly or fast enough.
The provincial government asking for arbitration to get back some of the $47 million dollars of fines levied against operators failing to adequately clear highways.
Del Duca trying to reach an agreement on outstanding fines, but at present doesn’t have consent from contractors to proceed.
He says that could leave the province with only one option, to sue.
Admittedly, that could be difficult, as the Transport Minister say some contract were so poorly written, cases could be thrown out of court.
