Additional charges have been laid against a Scarborough area school bus driver, after yet more victims came forward alleging that he had sexually assaulted them.
61 year old Toronto man Frank Gavas was arrested and charged last month, following allegations that he had sexually assaulted three pre-teen children between September 2015 and January of this year.
As a result of his arrest and the media attention it received, three additional victims have come forward alleging that they too were abused.
Six new charges have now been laid, including three counts of sexual assault and three counts of sexual interference, bringing the total number of charges laid against Mr. Gavas to 12.
He is scheduled to appear in court at Old City Hall on February 25th.
Frank Gavas was employed by Stock Transportation from 2006 and has driven for numerous schools in the Scarborough area, including is Georges Vanier Secondary School, Wexford Public School, George Peck Public School and Sloane Public School.
