Bidding has opened to bring back an iconic Toronto landmark.
The Sam The Record Man sign which used to steal all eyes is making a come back.
Officials at Ryerson University have told interested companies to bid on installing the sign, which, according to reports, will now sit atop the Toronto Public health building at Dundas and Victoria streets, actually facing Yonge and Dundas Square.
There is no indication as to when the sign might make a triumphant return.
It has been sitting in storage since 2008.
