Both Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and Ontario Premier Kathleen Wynne have campaigned in Whitby ahead of the provincial byelection.
The Liberals are obviously making a big push for the riding of Whitby-Oshawa, which has traditionally been held by the Tories. It was most recently head by former PC deputy leader Christine Elliott, who resigned from public office last August. Trudeau and Wynne are pushing to get Liberal candidate Elizabeth Roy into Queen’s Park ahead of Tory candidate Lorne Coe. Him and the Progressive Conservatives currently hold a 15 percent lead lead in the polls for the Whitby-Oshawa riding.
Do you think Trudeau and Wynne are helping or hindering Roy’s campaign?
