A man who has been convicted of murder in the death of his teenage daughter back in 1994 has been sentenced to life in prison.
60-year-old, Everton Biddersingh was found guilty of first-degree murder in January, just weeks after giving testimony about the gruesome death of his daughter.
Melonie Biddersingh was 17-years-old at the time and she weighed only 50 pounds and had 21 broken bones in different stages of healing.
Her body was found charred and stuffed inside of a suitcase 21 years ago and police weren’t able to identify her until 2012.
Biddersingh’s life sentence comes with no chance of parole for 25 years.
