Myrtle Beach, South Carolina has launched a promotion targeted at bringing Canadians to the tourist destination.
“Dollar for Dollar Deals” has Canadian visitors getting 30 percent off on hotel, dining, and other attractions, which basically puts our dollar on par with the US greenback. Myrtle Beach has welcomed Canadians to their sandy shores for decades–the 55th annual Canadian-American Days Festival is coming up in March. As of Friday afternoon, the Loonie was trading around 72 cents US, and Myrtle Beach wants Canadians to continue coming to the area.
Have you been travelling to the States as much with the slumping Loonie? Would these deals entice you to travel there?
