Testimony will continue in the Tim Bosma murder trial Thursday in a Hamilton courtroom.
One of the lead investigators in the case told the jury on Wednesday that a tip from another man, who also met with two men interested in buying his vehicle, lead to a major breakthrough.
The Toronto man told police one of the men he met with had a tattoo of the word “ambition” on his wrist.
Dellen Millard, one of the men accused in Bosma’s murder, reportedly has a wrist tattoo with the same word.
Detective Greg Jackson also discussed how cell phone records were used to track down their suspects.
Millard and another man, Mark Smich, have pleaded not guilty to first degree murder in Bosma’s death.
