York Police have charged a 51 year old personal support worker in relation to the sexual assault of an 88-year-old female patient he cared for at a hospital in Richmond Hill.
Police received a call on December 19 about the sexual assault of a female victim that occurred sometime between August and October, 2015.
At the time of the alleged offence the victim was being cared for at Mackenzie Health hospital by the accused.
Investigators believe there may be other victims as the accused has worked as a personal support worker at other facilities and they’re asking any witnesses to come forward.
51 year old Soja Zadeh of Newmarket has been charged with sexual assault.
He is also known as Shojaadin Mohammad-Zadeh
He’s being held in custody and was set to appear in a Newmarket court today.
