The case against former CBC radio host Jian Ghomeshi returns to a Toronto courtroom Tuesday.
One of Ghomeshi’s alleged victims will head back to the stand, after testifying Monday that Ghomeshi was a charming gentleman, who would unexpectedly turn violent.
The woman told the judge that back in 2002, she was punched in the head several times by the accused and had her hair yanked while they were kissing.
She also admitted she never went to the police with her claims, because she was afraid no one would believe her.
Ghomeshi has pleaded not guilty to four counts of sexual assault, and a count of overcoming resistance by choking.
