Milos Raonic is done and dusted, down under.
The Thornhill native has lost his bid to become the first Canadian man to reach a Grand Slam tennis final, dropping a five-set decision to Brittain’s Andy Murray, Friday.
Raonic actually led two sets to one but Murray battled back, taking a 4-6, 7-5, 6-7 (4-7), 6-4, 6-2 win.
Raonic fought through injury troubles with his upper right leg that required treatment early in the third set.
The marathon match went on for more than four hours.
As for Murray, he will move on to meet world number one Novak Jokivic in the men’s final, happening on Sunday.
