York Regional Police are asking the public to come forward with information regarding a break and enter that occurred in East Gwillimbury in October of last year.
Police report the incident occurred after a man had tied his dog up while entering a convenience store and returned a short time later to be confronted by two intoxicated woman. One of the women accused the dog of biting one of them. The man also reported that one of the woman uttered a death threat to the dog and also said she knew where the man lived.
Later that evening, security footage (seen below) shows three female suspects arriving at the victims property via ATV. When the man returned home shortly after 11:30 that evening, he found his house boat broken into and his dog wounded by a gunshot. The dog later succumbed to its injuries.
York Police have arrested 26 year old Jessica Walker of Thornhill under the charge of uttering a threat to kill an animal. Walker is however not co-operating with police in regards to identifying the other suspects, two still remain on the loose.
