A 17 year old boy is due in court in Saskatchewan today, following a shooting incident on Friday that left four dead.
The youth is facing four counts of first-degree murder, seven of attempted murder and unauthorized possession of a firearm.
Nine people in total were shot during an eight minute rampage at the La Loche Community school in the north of the province, with a teacher and teachers aid killed.
Two teenage brothers were found dead in a home in the town shortly after.
The victims have been named as teacher Adam Wood, 35, teaching aide Marie Janvier, 21, Drayden Fontaine, 13, and Dayne Fontaine, 17.
The teen, who cannot be named under the Youth Criminal Justice Act, will make his court appearance in Meadow Lake, about 270 kilometres south of La Loche.
Meanwhile, the acting mayor of the small town is calling for the school building to be torn down and re built following the incident.
