Lt. Col. Steve Day is a former Commanding Officer of Canada’s elite counterterrorism special forces unit JTF2. He told us on air that Justin Trudeau’s determination to pull Canadian CF18 fighter bombers from the coalition attacks on ISIS may result in Canada being seen as unreliable by coalition partners and that information-sharing with Canada may be affected. This past week Defence Ministers of major coalition countries including the U.S., the U.K., France and Australia met for a strategy session in Paris. Canada was pointedly not invited. Downplayed by the Trudeau government.
