The death toll has risen to 19 after gunmen stormed a university in northwest Pakistan.
Police say the attack happened after the Bacha Khan University opened for classes on Wednesday morning. There were over 3,000 students and 600 guests at the school when shots rang out.
Students reported hearing gun shots from the back of the campus, then the shooting got worse. Students gathered in classrooms where they stayed until the attackers were killed.
Several explosions were heard from the school, 35 kilometres outside Peshawar. There are reports the gunmen were wearing suicide vests, but were killed before they could detonate them.
No one has yet to claim responsibility for the attack.
A Taliban attack on a school in Peshawar in December, 2014 killed over 150 people, mostly children.
