Plans for the $13-billion dollar refurbishment of four nuclear reactors at the Darlington Generating Station will be unveiled Monday by Ontario Power Generation.
The Province is looking to extend the life of the reactors by another 30 years.
Under normal circumstances, the reactors would be decommissioned by 2020.
Just last month, Bruce Power announced plans to spend $13-billion to refurbish six reactors at the plant in Kincardine.
The nuclear generating station in Pickering is scheduled for decommission in 2020, but at this point, there have been no plans announced to rebuild reactors there.
