Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is going to have to get used to getting a lot of attention. While he and his family were on vacation in the Caribbean he has made tabloid headlines. TMZ has reported that the Prime Minister stayed at a swanky resort at an undisclosed location. One of the Prime Minister’s officials said the Prime Minister would reimburse taxpayers for the cost of his and his family’s travel. It is government policy due to security that the Prime Minister must use of of the RCAF planes for all his air travel. For a vacation the Prime Minister will reimburse an economy class cost of airfare. The cost of National Defence Challenger jets used for vacations is about $10,000 per flying hour. Former Prime Minister Stephen Harper paid the economy cost for personal travel with his family. Do you think that it is time to change the rules?
