After days, if not weeks, of lackluster economic reports, comes a hint of good news for the Canadian Economy.
Canada’s economy created a much better than expected 22-thousand, 800 net jobs in the month of December, beating analysts expectations.
Economists predicted a gain of roughly 10-thousand jobs.
Despite the addition in jobs, the National jobless rate stayed at 7.1 per cent.
Ontario’s unemployment rate dropped from 6.9 per cent to 6.7 per cent as it added 34,900 positions last month.
