Retailers call the Aura condo mall at Yonge and Gerrard a ghost town and are suing developer Canderel Residential for millions of dollars.
They say the condo developers over promised and misled them into thinking this mall was a smart investment. Retailers have also accused developers of having under delivered on a connection to the PATH that never materialized. The Shops at Aura is located under the condo at 388 Yonge Street.
Do they have a case? Or is there a difference between marketing a location and what is actually in the contract?
