Marco Muzzo will plead guilty when he returns to court on February 4.
According to his lawyer Brian Greenspan, Muzzo is accepting full responsibility, and insists no plea deal was made. He added that he and the Crown will argue different sentencing once trial resumes February 23.
The 29-year-old is accused in the drunk driving crash that killed three children and their grandfather in September. Muzzo is charged with impaired driving causing death, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle causing death, and impaired driving causing bodily harm.
