AM640’s John Oakley wonders why the GTA is so caught up with the Marco Muzzo story (which features the 29-year-old in a crash allegedly caused by impaired driving that resulted in the deaths of three children and their grandfather, but the same outcry hasn’t happened regarding a similar case in Saskatoon.
49-year-old Catherine McKay, executive director of the Saskatoon Sports Council and former Canadian wrestler, is charged with various counts of impaired causing death after allegedly causing a crash on the weekend that killed two parents and their two-year-old son and five-year-old daughter (family pictured).
The victims are Jordan and Chanda Van de Vorst, and their son Miguire and daughter Kamryn.
The RCMP said that McKay’s Jeep Wrangler hit the Van de Vorst’s Hyundai Elantra while trying to cross Highway 11 on Wanuskewin Road outside of Saskatoon.
Is the public more critical of Marco Muzzo just because of his family name and wealth?
