New Liberal MP and former television broadcaster Seamus O’Regan has announced, via Twitter, that he is taking up a new alcohol-free lifestyle this year, and is entering a ‘wellness program’.
The MP for St. John’s South-Mount Pearl made this announcement via Twitter. He plans to return to work by January 25.
Am640’s John Oakley doesn’t think it was necessary for O’Regan to go public with this news. He thinks there’s a chance that O’Regan is doing this to gain some credibility with his constituents, or to get out ahead of a big story that we have yet to hear about.
Do you think O’Regan needed to share this private issue on social media?
