Making of A Murderer is the Netflix show that everyone was talking about this holiday.
The documentary is about a Wisconsin man named Steve Avery who was wrongly convicted of sexual assault, and spent 18 years in prison. He was exonerated and released in 2003—only to be found guilty of murder two years later. The District Attorney at the time has accused the filmmakers of not wanting to muddy up a perfectly good conspiracy movie with what actually happened. According to the prosecutor, 80-90 percent of the evidence tying Avery to this murder was left out of the program. Meanwhile, a petition has been signed by nearly 200 thousand asking President Obama to do something.
Should Steve Avery be released? What do you think of trial by video?
