While the Federal government announced that they would bring in 25,000 refugees by the end of 2015, the number lowered to 10,000. Now that the New Year has started we see that the actual number of refugees that were welcomed to Canada dropped to an actual 6,300. However, they explain that there will be 50,000 by the end of 2016. Only 30% of refugees expressed interest and enthusiasm to make Canada their home… Is Canada going about the Syrian refugee issue incorrectly?
