A Scarborough man now faces a slew of charges after he allegedly walked into a hospital with a gun and fell asleep.
Police claim that early this morning at the Scarborough hospital cleaning crews discovered an unattended bag within the cafeteria. Inside, amongst a series of items was at least one illegal firearm.
The staff immediately called the police who reviewed the security footage and determined the man who dropped the bag had entered an empty room hours ago.
When police followed the lead to their surprise, the man was found sleeping inside.
33 year old Sidney Charles faces six gun related charges including unauthorized possession of a firearm.
