A new survey suggests more young Ontarians would smoke pot if it was legalized.
Forum Research found that 39 percent of respondents aged 18 to 34 would like use marijuana if it were legal. However, it doesn’t appear that legalization would create a giant surge in pot smokers. Twenty-two percent of respondents from all ages said they would use pot if legalized, while only 17 percent said they consumed it in the last year. Premier Wynne of course has already argued that the LCBO would be the best fit for the retail of Mary Jane.
Do you believe these numbers, or will pot lose its “cool factor” if it’s legalized? And, if raises more revenue for government, is that a bad thing?
