The Toronto Homicide Unit is investigating after two people fatally fell from an apartment balcony Sunday evening.
It happened around 6:30 p.m. at 111 Raglan Avenue, near Bathurst Street and St. Clair Avenue West.
Officers say the victims, a man and a woman, were found outside the building with obvious signs of trauma. Both were residents of the apartment building, and police say the two appeared to have a “relationship” of some kind.
The victims are identified as a couple, 33-year-old Precious Charbonneau, of Toronto, and 43-year-old Robert Giblin, of Toronto.
According to the Canadian Armed Forces, Giblin was a member of the joint task force based with Denison Armoury out of Toronto.
Investigators are currently gathering any video footage. They’re asking anyone with information or anyone who may have witnessed the incident to contact them.
Officers say post-mortem examinations will be happening Monday.
