Four white lion cubs made their public viewing debut at the Toronto Zoo, this weekend.
The cubs born to mom Makali and dad Fintan in September, are now at 12 weeks of age, and can bee seen daily from 11 am – 2 pm in a special behind-the-scenes viewing area in the African Savanna.
Walking over everything in sight, including mom, and snuggling were the first sights by zoogoers
The temporary viewing area is a transitioning den for the cubs, where they will be able to exercise, play and explore. As the cubs grow older, they will eventually be moved into a larger exhibit area.
An outdoor viewing area with a 24 foot long radiant heater, will keep the cubs and lions warm during the winter.
