Google says that you’re all talk when it comes to your claim that you truly care about the environment!
Based on recent trends determined by search results compiled during 2015, Google discovered that Canadian searches on fuel economy dropped 25%.
“Canadians are green, but notoriously careful with our money,” says Deepak Anand, who is head of industry, auto, for Google Canada. “The biggest driving factor to buy a fuel-efficient vehicle is the cost of gas at the pump … (a car) just being fuel efficient isn’t enough.”
He told the Globe & Mail HERE that the only time those results increase is when gas prices rise.
What is the deciding factor when it comes to buying or leasing your first or next vehicle? Is it fuel efficiency, cost of maintenance, or something as simple as the badge on the vehicle?
