Peel police have laid new charges against a 42 year old Brampton Man in connection to the death of his 21 month old daughter.
On Monday, April 20, 2015, Police were called to a home on Pappain Crescent near Hurontario and Mayfield for reports of an unresponsive child.
Police found the toddler without vital signs and she was taken to a local hospital where she would be pronounced dead.
The child’s 42 year old father, Frank Brian O’Dea, was initially charged with Criminal Negligence Causing Death.
Then on December 14, a report was released by the Center of Forensic Sciences determining the cause of death to be malnutrition and dehydration.
O’Dea is now charged with Manslaughter and Failing to Provide Necessities of Life.
He was set to appear in a Brampton Court today for a Bail Hearing.
