The OPP have laid criminal charges against two former staffers who worked with the McGuinty Liberals.
The charges stem from an investigation into deleted emails allegedly linked to the gas plants scandal.
David Livingston, who was the chief of staff to former Ontario Premier Dalton McGuinty has been chaged with one count of Breach of Trust. Deputy chief of staff Laura Miller is also facing one countof Breach of Trust.
Police say the investigation began in June of 2013, after the premier cancelled two gas plants prior to the 2011 election, which the auditor general found will cost ratepayers up to $1.1 billion.
Both Livingston and Miller are scheduled to make their first court appearances in Toronto next month.
