Riding the better way could soon cost you more during peak times.
The TTC board has approved the first step toward peak -hour pricing.
In the plan, calls for rush hour riders to pay more than those riding outside of heavy traffic windows.
Other changes from the board include a move to a single cash fare and axing the cash fare discount for both seniors and students.
Yesterdays meeting also brought in a list of price structure changes as the TTC gets ready to roll out the new presto card system by 2017.
The moves would help the TTC eliminate tickets and tokens and, dramatically reduce the amount of cash it handles.
