Ethan Couch, the 18-year-old Texas teen who dodged heavy punishment after his drunk driving killed four people, is in trouble again.
In 2013, a judge agreed with Couch defense that he was the product of wealthy, privileged parents who allowed him to do whatever he wanted, and therefore suffered from “affluenza”.
The teen, who was 16 at the time, dodge time behind bars and was instead handed 10 years’ probation and mental health treatment.
However, his probation officer has been unable to locate Couch or his mother over the last few days.
A video has surfaced recently showing Couch at a party featuring alcohol and a game of beer pong, which would also indicate a breach of his probation.
Is it time for the courts to throw the book at Ethan Couch? Do you think he will ultimately end up behind bars?
