The newest option for carpoolers will be unveiled by the most popular ride sharing service today and it will be known as “uberHOP. “
Uber will be launching it in Toronto and it’s been designed to contend with the TTC during the morning and afternoon rush hours.
Torontonians will now be able to opt for sharing a ride with other people at a flat rate of $5.
The routes will be running through City Place, Fort York, Liberty Village, including the Financial and Distillery Districts.
A total of five people will be able to fit into larger Uber vehicles in an effort to travel faster during the rush hour.
