Forget cabbies—Uber seems to have the TTC in its sites next.
UberHOP will debut tomorrow morning, featuring rides during rush hour on four specific routes. Each ride will have a flat rate of five bucks, using larger cars like SUVs to pick up multiple passengers from the same spot. UberHOP will then drop them off at predetermined locations.
Will UberHOP shake up transit like it has the cab industry? Will it threaten the city’s subway service?
