14 people displaced by a massive fire in Brampton are now looking for the public’s help to get through the holiday season.
The blaze started in a complex on Darras court near Bramalea and Steeles, Saturday night. Platoon Chief Edward Davis says, “8 units were damaged, and a car was engulfed during the dramatic incident.” Fortunately no one was injured.
Brampton’s Emergency Management office is working in conjunction with the Red Cross to provide adequate logging for those affected. At this point, the city is asking for cash donations until the individuals specific needs can be identified.
The Fire Marshall’s office is not sure how it started but they are investigating.
