Police are reminding drivers and pedestrians to be safe after two people were taken to hospital after being struck by vehicles early Saturday morning.
The first happened near Markham Road and Blakemanor Boulevard sometime after 2 a.m. Police say the victim was transported to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The second happened sometime after 7 a.m. near Queen and Yonge street downtown. EMS say a woman was transported to hospital suffering from a head injury. Police say the injuries are not life threatening.
Police currently have Queen closed between Yonge and Victoria closed off for investigation.
It’s unknown at this time if charges will be laid in either accident.
