UPDATE: Marco Muzzo’s bail hearing has been held over for a fourth time.
His 5th court date will be January 6, 2016.
Muzzo has been behind bars since late September, and will remain there over Christmas.
29-year-old Marco Muzzo is facing a dozen impaired-driving offences and six additional charges related to the dangerous operation of a motor vehicle.
Today, he will make his fourth appearance, yet again via video link, for a bail hearing. Will his lawyer Brian Greenspan once again ask for more time to go over evidence?
His initial bail hearing was set for October 19. Muzzo’s lawyer Brian Greenspan had it delayed to November 12.
When court reconvened on the 12th, Greenspan asked that the hearing be delayed again to November 26.
Greenspan asked for more time again, and the hearing was delayed to Thursday, December 10.
Muzzo’s SUV T-boned a van in Vaughan on September 27, killing three children, aged 2, 5, and 9, and their grandfather, 65. All were members of the Neville-Lake family. It is alleged that he was impaired at the time.
