An 11-year old boy from Markham was found safe by a police officer on patrol this morning, after the boy had runaway from his home on Wednesday night.
The incident started when Tidus Cho and his parents had an argument over the boy’s study habits, which lead to the Tidus fleeing his home. It was around 7:30 p.m. when the boy left the home. The Cho family stated that they spent anywhere from two to three hours searching for the boy before they called police for assistance. It was not until 7:00 a.m. this morning until the boy was found near Markville Mall near McCowan Road and Highway 7.
“I saw the police car and then I wanted to head back home,” said Tidus. “The police officer told me to get in the car. He drove me back.”
