A 22 year old man, wanted on a Canada wide warrant in relation to a murder outside a Toronto Community Housing building in the cities east end, has been arrested during a drug trafficking investigation by Toronto police.
Conrad Grizzle was one of ten people arrested and charged during a series of raids carried out as part of “Project Springfield”, an investigation into people believed to be trafficking controlled substances within the GTA and surrounding communities.
In addition to the ten arrests made, a quantity of drugs were also seized as part of the investigation as well as a firearm.
A warrant for Grizzle’s arrest has been in place since June of 2014, following the shooting death of 20 year old Douglas Parker near Greenwood Avenue and Gerrard Street, two friends of Parker were also shot in the attack but survived.
According to Police, he will be charged with one count of second-degree murder and two counts of attempted murder in connection with the shooting while he will face a number of drug and gun-related charges in connection with “Project Springfield”.
